TheM77 is a shortmetropolitan route inGreater Johannesburg,South Africa.[1][2] It connects Moroka inSoweto withRoodepoort viaDobsonville.[3] For its entire route, it is named Elias Motsoaledi Road.
The M77 begins at a junction with theM68 in the Moroka section ofSoweto.[4]: 125 It heads northwards for 10 kilometres, through Jabavu (where it meets the western terminus of theM79)[4]: 125 andDobsonville (where it meets the northern terminus of theM72 and the western terminus of theM70),[4]: 103 to exit Soweto and reach its end at a junction with theR41 inRoodepoort, in the suburb of Cresswell Park (south of the town centre).[4]: 77
