Manane Hewa Saddhasena was aCeylonese physician and politician. He was aMember of Parliament from 1965 to 1970.
Born to a wealthy family fromAmbalangoda, he graduated from theCeylon Medical College, where his batch-mates included DrP. R. Anthonis. An active member of theUnited National Party, he contested1952 general election from theAmbalangoda-Balapitiya electorate, but came third. He contested the1965 general election from theAmbalangoda electorate from theUnited National Party, and was elected to theHouse of Representatives defeatingP. de S. Kularatne. He was defeated in the1970 general election.[1]
