Nicholas James Fry[3] (born May 29, 2001), known professionally asLydia B Kollins, is an American drag performer, filmmaker, and model[4] who competed on theseventeenth season ofRuPaul's Drag Race, where she finished in 7th place.[5][6] Lydia B Kollins competed on thetenth season (2025) ofRuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, where she ended up tying for 3rd place with fellow contestantBosco.

Early life and education

Fry was raised inGreensburg, Pennsylvania, attendingHempfield Area School District and graduating in 2019. They attendedPoint Park University for film and graduated in 2023.[7]

Career

Fry'sdrag persona Lydia B Kollins is derived from theBeetlejuice character Lydia Deetz. Lydia B Kollins is afilmmaker, as she said in her season ofRuPaul's Drag Race, and citesTim Burton,David Lynch, andJohn Waters as inspirations.[2][4] She started drag in the online drag community at the age of 15,[3] competing on the web seriesDrag Showdown, as well as winning the third season ofThe Drag Ball web series. Her first time performing in public was for aPride event atNemacolin Woodlands Resort in 2021. Prior to performing in drag full-time, she worked as a server at theDuquesne Club in Pittsburgh. She auditioned only once forDrag Race.[8] As a model, she walked forSusanne Bartsch’s "Bartsch Summer Camp Pride" event in 2021.[4] Kollins opened for singerChappell Roan's Pittsburgh show as a part ofThe Midwest Princess Tour in April 2024.[9] Her "home bars" are P*Town Bar inOakland and Blue Moon inLawrenceville, Pittsburgh. Kollins describes her drag as "grungy", "alternative", "eerie", and "vampy".[3] Her Instagram following grew by 1,283 percent as the show aired.[10] She is the onlyDrag Race contestant to compete on a second season (All Stars 10) before their first has aired, sharing that she was invited to participate again 3 weeks after filming ofDrag Race Season 17 finished, and that she had about 5 days to prepare forDrag Race All Stars 10.[11]

Fry is based inPittsburgh.[3][12] As of 2025, Fry is dating fellowDrag Race contestantKori King.[13]
