Lycée Michel Rodange, abbreviated toLMRL, is ahigh school inLuxembourg City, in southernLuxembourg. It is located onCampus Geesseknäppchen, along with several other educational institutions, most of which, including Lycée Michel Rodange, is in thequarter ofHollerich, in the south-west of the city.[1]
It was founded by law on 5 August 1968 as the 'Nouveau Lycée de Luxembourg' (English:Luxembourg New School), but was renamed byGrand Ducal decree on 19 January 1970 to its current name,[2] afterMichel Rodange, the author of Luxembourg'snational epic,Rénert the Fox.[3] Rodange countsJean-Claude Juncker, the President of theEuropean Commission as its alumnus.[4]
