Luricocha District is one of eightdistricts of the provinceHuanta inPeru.[1]
The people in the district are mainlyindigenous citizens ofQuechua descent. The majority of the population (65.24%) are nativeQuechua speakers, while 34.44% of the resident's native language isSpanish according to the2007 Peru Census.[2]
