Luo Shugang (Chinese:雒树刚; born 27 May 1955) is a Chinese politician. He has been theMinister of Culture since December 2014. He formerly served as executive deputy director of thePublicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party.[1][2][3]
Luo is a native ofNangong,Hebei province. He began working in February 1971, and joined theChinese Communist Party (CCP) in September 1981. He has a master's degree from theCentral Party School of the CPC.[1] In August 2006, he was named chief of the Office of theCentral Guidance Commission on Building Spiritual Civilization.[2]
Luo is a full member of the18th and19th Central Committees of the Chinese Communist Party.[1][2]
