Luka Žorić (born November 5, 1984) is a former Croatian professionalbasketball player. Standing at 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m), he played at thecenter position.
In March 2011, Žorić receivedthe award for Most Valuable Player of theNLB Adriatic League while playing forKK Zagreb.[1]
On June 9, 2011, Žorić signed a three-year contract with the Spanish teamUnicaja Málaga.[2] On July 26, 2013, Žorić signed a three-year contract withFenerbahçe Ülker.[3][4] Unicaja received 850,000 euros of buyout from Fenerbahçe, as he was still under contract.[5]
On July 28, 2015, Žorić returned to Croatia and signed withCedevita for the 2015–16 season.[6]
On August 10, 2016, he signed with Spanish clubBaloncesto Sevilla.[7] On November 22, 2016, he parted ways with Sevilla.[8] On January 5, 2017, he returned to his former clubCibona for the rest of the season.[9] On July 8, 2017, he re-signed with Cibona.[10] On December 29, 2018, Žorić signed a contract withZadar until the end of the season.[11]
In September 2019, Žorić signed withSamobor playing in the second-tier Croatian First League.[12]
