Lujhu District[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] (Chinese:路竹區;Hanyu Pinyin:Lùzhú Qū;Tongyong Pinyin:Lùjhú Cyu;Wade–Giles:Lu4-chu2 Ch'ü1) is a suburbandistrict ofKaohsiung City,Taiwan.
After thehandover of Taiwan from Japan to theRepublic of China in 1945, Lujhu was organized as arural township ofKaohsiung County. On 25 December 2010, Kaohsiung County was merged with Kaohsiung City and Lujhu was upgraded to adistrict of thecity.
The district consists of Zhuhu, Dingliao, Xinda, Houxiang, Beiling, Shexi, Jiabei, Jianan, Xiakeng, Zhuyuan, Zhutung, Zhuxi, Wenbei, Wennan, SanyevYaliao, Shetung, Shezhong, Zhunan and Shenan Village.[9]
The district is part ofKaohsiung City Constituency IIelectoral district forLegislative Yuan.
