Luis Santamaría Crisanto Figueroa (born 22 November 1975) is aHonduranfootballer who plays forLiga Nacional de Honduras clubAtlético Choloma as adefender.
A big, lanky defender, Santamaría started his career atMarathón and also played for other Honduran giantsReal España andF.C. Motagua. In 2007, he signed a contract with Chinese clubBeijing Guoan.[1] He also had a spell withQingdao Zhongneng in 2008.[2]
In summer 2011 Santamaría joinedNecaxa[3] and in summer 2012 he moved toAtlético Choloma.[4]
Santamaría made his debut forHonduras in a November 2000FIFA World Cup qualification match againstSaint Vincent & the Grenadines[5] and has earned a total of 2 caps, scoring 1 goal. He was a non-playing squad member at the2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[6]
His second and final international was a May 2007friendly match againstVenezuela.
