Luige is asmall borough (Estonian:alevik) inKiili Parish,Harju County, in northernEstonia, located about 12 km (7 mi) south from the centre ofTallinn. As of the2011 census, the settlement's population was 1280.[1]Luige gained its small borough status on 18 August 2008, before that it was a village. On 1 July 2019, a portion of dissolvedTammejärve village was merged with Luige's territory.[2]
