TheLower West Akim constituency is in theEastern region ofGhana. The current member of Parliament for the constituency is Owen Kwame Frimpong.[1] He was elected on the ticket of theNational Democratic Congress (NDC) who finished ahead of the next candidate.[2] He succeededGifty Klenam who had represented the constituency in the4th Republican parliament on the ticket of the NPP.
