Low Profile was an Americanhip hop duo fromLos Angeles. The group consisted of rapperWilliam "W.C." Calhoun Jr. and record producerAlphonso "D.J. Aladdin" Henderson,[1] who went on to pursue a career invisual arts. The duo made its debut with Rhyme $yndicate Records, on a compilation album produced byIce-T andAfrika Islam, before becoming a duo onPriority Records.[2][3]
The group was a short-lived but influentialWest Coast hip hop duo. Together, they released only one album,We're in This Together. They also appeared on the Rhyme Syndicate compilationRhyme Syndicate Comin' Through. DJ Aladdin began working withIce-T, andWC formed a group calledWC and the Maad Circle which included a then-unknown rapper namedCoolio.[1]
