Lourdes Pisthón grew up inBuenos Aires.[3]
Her sister,Pilar, was an Argentine international player,[4] in the2025 Junior Pan American Games.
Pisthón made her international debut at under-21 level, making her first appearance in 2024.[5] She debuted for theArgentine U–21 team at thePan American Junior Championship inSurrey, winning a gold medal.[6][7][8][9]
In 2024, Pisthón received her first call-up to the national squad.[10] She made her debut forLas Leonas during the home leg ofseason six of theFIH Pro League inSantiago del Estero.[3][11][12] Since her debut, she has continued to represent the national squad in 2025.[5]
