Louis J. F. Filloux (1869–1957) was a Frenchartillery officer. He designed several artillery pieces used inWorld War I, including theCanon de 155mm GPF, theCanon de 194 mle GPF, and the 370mm Filloux mortar.[1] His highest rank was lieutenant colonel.
Filloux was made a Commander of theLegion of Honour by France[1] and received theDistinguished Service Medal from the United States.[2]
