Louis Grenville Abell (July 21, 1884 – October 25, 1962) was an Americanrower who competed in the1900 Summer Olympics and in the1904 Summer Olympics.[1]
In 1900, he was thecoxswain of the American boatVesper Boat Club, which won the gold medal in themen's eight. Four years later, he won his second gold medal as coxswain of the American boat in theeight.[2] After his retirement from sports, he served on the board ofhealth in his hometown ofElizabeth, New Jersey for 40 years.[3]
