Zachery Lou Wilson[1] is an American actor, writer, and comedian. He is best known for his work as a writer and his roles onactual playanthology web seriesDimension 20 and the creator-ownedpodcastWorlds Beyond Number.[2][3] He is also known for being the on-air announcer forJimmy Kimmel Live! and his roles onAmerican Vandal,The King of Staten Island, andThe Guest Book.[4][5]
Wilson was raised inAltadena, California, and has lived inLos Angeles for the majority of his life.[4] He attendedBoston College and studied communications and Italian.[6] While there, he became a member of the university's comedy troupe, My Mother's Fleabag.[7] After his graduation in 2014, Wilson moved back to California and joined theUpright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.[6]
In 2017, Wilson starred as Frank inThe Guest Book[5] and played Lucas Wiley on Netflix'sAmerican Vandal.[8][9] Additionally, he acted alongsidePete Davidson inThe King of Staten Island (2020), where he played the role of Richie.[10][11] He began writing forJimmy Kimmel Live! in 2020 and was promoted to on-air announcer in 2022, replacingDicky Barrett after he retired.[4][12]
Wilson is known within thetabletop role-playing game community as a primary cast member ofDimension 20, anactual playanthology web series which premiered in 2018; it was created byCollegeHumor for the streaming serviceDropout.[2] In 2022, he was a cast member of the actual play seriesExandria Unlimited: Calamity, aspin-off of the web seriesCritical Role.[13][14][15] In January 2023, it was announced that Wilson, alongsideErika Ishii,Aabria Iyengar, andBrennan Lee Mulligan, would star in the creator-owned actual playpodcastWorlds Beyond Number; the show premiered in March 2023.[3][16][17][18]
Wilson is also an improvisational comedian. He is currently a member of the improv troupe Yeti, which includes fellow Dropout cast membersZac Oyama,Ally Beardsley,Vic Michaelis, andJacob Wysocki.[19] Yeti performs at theUpright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.[20]
