Lorena Wiebes (born 17 March 1999) is a Dutchracing cyclist , who currently rides forUCI Women's WorldTeam Team SD Worx–Protime .[ 4]
On the road, Wiebes turned professional in 2018, riding forParkhotel Valkenburg . In 2019, she becameDutch National Road Race champion . She won the gold medal in the road race at the2019 European Games , beating her compatriotMarianne Vos in the sprint for the line.[ 5] Team Sunweb . She won the road race at theEuropean Road Cycling Championships in2022 and2024 . In 2022, she won two stages at theTour de France Femmes , but later crashed out of the race.[ 6] SD Worx .[ 7] Tour de France Femmes , but again did not finish the race.[ 8] [ 9] cycling monument , winningMilan–San Remo Women .[ 10] Gent–Wevelgem .[ 11]
On the track, Wiebes became world champion in thescratch race at the2024 UCI Track Cycling World Championships , and European champion in theOmnium at the2025 UEC European Track Championships .
In 2024, Wiebes finished 3rd at the2024 UCI Gravel World Championships .[ 12]
