Lord Lambourne is an apple cultivar with a sweet sharp flavor.[2] It was raised byLaxtons Brothers Ltd in 1907 inBedford,England.[3][4] Received aRoyal Horticultural SocietyAward of Merit in 1923.[1][2][3]

Appearance and flavour

The apple shape is broad globose conical, it has a distinctive orange blush mixed with a greenish yellow "background," and taste is sharp sweet.[3]

Cultivation

Lord Lambourne a mid season apple.[5] It is sensitive toapple rubbery wood,apple chat fruit,[6]apple canker,apple scab andhoney fungus[2] but has some resistance topowdery mildew.[2]
