Valerie Loureda (born July 19, 1998) is an Americanprofessional wrestler and formermixed martial artist. She is signed toWWE, where she performs on theNXTbrand under thering nameLola Vice. As a mixed martial artist, she competed in the women's flyweight division ofBellator MMA.

Early life

Valerie Loureda was born on July 19, 1998, inMiami,Florida. She is ofCuban descent.[4]

The daughter of aTaekwondo master, Loureda herself is a 4th dan black belt in Taekwondo and was part of the US Olympic Taekwondo team before becoming an MMA fighter.[5] In her two-part promo on September 2 and 9 episodes of NXT, leading to her hometown event ofNXT No Mercy, she revealed that her entire family has taekwondo black belt and college degrees.

Mixed martial arts career

Making herMMA debut, Loureda faced Colby Fletcher on February 16, 2019, atBellator 216.[6] She won the fight by technical knockout.[7] Loureda faced Larkyn Dasch on June 14, 2019, atBellator 222.[8] She won the bout via unanimous decision.[9]

Loureda next faced Tara Graff on August 7, 2020, atBellator 243.[10] She won the fight via technical knockout.[11] Loureda was scheduled to face Hannah Guy atBellator 258 on May 7, 2021, but was moved toBellator 259 on May 21.[12] She lost the bout via unanimous decision.[13] Loureda faced Taylor Turner on November 12, 2021, atBellator 271, winning the bout by split decision.[14]

Professional wrestling career

In March 2022, Loureda attended a three-day-longWWE tryout duringWrestleMania 38 weekend. In August, she signed a contract with WWE and reported to theWWE Performance Center.[15][16] Loureda was announced to perform under the ringnameLola Vice.[17][18][19]

Vice began performing on theNXT brand as aheel,[20][21] and entered the2023 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament. Vice defeatedKelani Jordan in the finals, earning a contract for anNXT Women's Championship match at any time of her choosing.[22] AtVengeance Day on February 4, 2024, Vice cashed in her contract during the ongoing NXT Women's Championship match betweenRoxanne Perez and championLyra Valkyria, turning the match into atriple threat; however, Vice was unsuccessful as she was pinned by Valkyria.[23] Vice then began competing inNXT Underground matches where she defeated main roster wrestlersNatalya andShayna Baszler.[24][25] On July 7 atNXT Heatwave, Vice unsuccessfully challengedRoxanne Perez for theNXT Women's Championship.[26] Following Heatwave, Vice turnedface and entered a feud withJaida Parker. The feud culminated in a NXT Underground match atNXT Deadline on December 7, where Vice won.[27]

AtNXT Stand & Deliver on April 19, 2025, Vice competed in a six-womanladder match for thevacantNXT Women’s North American Championship, but was unsuccessful.[28][29] On June 7 atWorlds Collide, Vice teamed withStephanie Vaquer where the two defeatedChik Tormenta andDalys.[30] AtEvolution on July 13, Vice entered the 20-womanbattle royal but was unsuccessful in the match.[31][32] AtNXT Heatwave on August 24, Vice won a triple threat match to become number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship[33] but failed to defeat Jayne for the title atNXT No Mercy on September 27 after interference from a hooded individual, later revealed to beLainey Reid.[34]
