Lok Ningthou (Meitei: ꯂꯣꯛ ꯅꯤꯪꯊꯧ) is the God associated with streams and gorges inMeitei mythology andreligion ofAncient Kangleipak. He is the Guardian God of the Southern direction. He is a son ofWangpulen, the God of water.[1][2]
God Lok Ningthou is also given the titleKhana Chaoba like his fatherWangpulen. He is also known asNoushuba Mihingchi (Old Manipuri:Noushupa Mihingchi). He is known for having seven children.[1]
