Loizos Loizou (Greek:Λοΐζος Λοΐζου; born 18 July 2003) is a Cypriot professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forIsraeli Premier League clubHapoel Tel Aviv.[1][2]
In January 2024, Loizou joined DutchEredivisie clubHeerenveen on loan for the remainder of the season.[3]
On 5 September 2020, he made his debut withCyprus in a 0-2 defeat againstMontenegro in the2020–21 UEFA Nations League,[4] becoming at 17 years, 1 month and 18 days Cyprus youngest player ever.[5]
On 7 October 2020, during his third cap, he scored his first international goal in a 1-2 defeat in a friendly game againstCzech Republic, becoming at 17 years, 2 months and 20 days Cyprus' youngest goalscorer ever.[6]
