Logan Geariety Bearden (born November 3, 1995) is an American professionalstock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in theNASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 14Chevrolet SS forSS-Green Light Racing withBRK Racing, the No. 53 Chevrolet SS forJoey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen, and the No. 07 Chevrolet SS forSS-Green Light Racing and part-time in theNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 02Chevrolet Silverado RST forYoung's Motorsports.
After growing up helping his father at local short tracks in Texas, Bearden began inkart racing. In 2007, he won the Oklahoma National Series championship and started competing in theWorld Karting Association's Manufacturers Cup.[1] He eventually switched topro modifieds, winning a rookie of the year award in 2013.[2]
Bearden later moved to late models, with his first start in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series coming at theLas Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring in 2017.[3] In 2018, he entered theCARS Super Late Model Tour race atFairgrounds Speedway, where he finished twelfth.[4] Bearden has also competed in theSnowball Derby.[5]
After skipping 2020, Bearden returned to racing in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series in 2021.[6] In May, he joinedNiece Motorsports for hisNASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut atCircuit of the Americas.[7] However, he was one of seven drivers who failed to qualify for the race.[8]
A year later, Bearden drove forAM Racing in the2022 XPEL 225, which he finally managed to qualify for.
Bearden was diagnosed withdyslexia in second grade.[1]
