Loch Snizort (Scottish Gaelic:Loch Snìosort) is asea loch in the northwest of theIsle of Skye between theWaternish andTrotternish peninsulas. It is fed by the River Snizort, originating in the hills east ofBracadale.[1] The mouth of Loch Snizort gives access tothe lower Minch and contains theAscrib Islands.
