Lloyd Peck

British physiologist

Lloyd PeckFRS is a Britishphysiologist who is a scientist with theBritish Antarctic Survey and affiliated with theWolfson College, Cambridge.[1] He is known for his research into biological adaptations of animals to extreme cold, in particularsea spiders.[2][3][4][5]

He presented the 2004Royal Institution Christmas Lectures on surviving in the Antarctic.[6] In 2024 he was elected aFellow of the Royal Society.[7]
