Llanishen railway station (Welsh:Llanisien) is arailway station serving the area ofLlanishen inCardiff, southWales. It is a stop on theRhymney Line of theValley Lines network.
The Monday to Saturday daytime service pattern is six trains an hour southbound toCardiff Central: two continue toPenarth, three toBarry Island and one toBridgend. Northbound six trains an hour run toCaerphilly, with four continuing toBargoed and two of those going on toRhymney. The frequency decreases in the evening.
On Sundays, the service pattern is two trains an hour southbound toCardiff Central andBarry Island, and two an hour northbound toCaerphilly, with one continuing toRhymney.[1]
