From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thislist of tallest buildings in Metro Manila ranks buildings in Metro Manila by height. As of November 2025, Metro Manila has 215 buildings that are confirmed to be 150 meters (492 feet) or higher.

Metro Manila, the most populousmetropolitan area in thePhilippines, theseat of government and also theNational Capital Region, is home to the tallestskyscrapers in the country. Prominent areas where skyscrapers stand are theMakati Central Business District,Rockwell Center andMakati Poblacion inMakati;Ortigas Center and the C-5 Corridor inPasigMandaluyongQuezon City;Bonifacio Global City inTaguig;Ermita,Malate andBinondo in theCity of Manila;Eastwood City,Araneta City and the Quezon City Quadrangle in Quezon City;Robinsons Cybergate in Mandaluyong; andAlabang inMuntinlupa.

The history ofhighrise buildings in Manila probably began with the construction of the eight-storeyManila Hotel in 1912, which is considered the first modern high-rise building in the Philippines.[1] The constructions of high-rise buildings also shifted from the City of Manila to its surrounding area, including the transformation of Makati into the country's financial and business center in the 1960s.

The first skyscraper (150 meters and above) in the metropolis is the 44-storey Pacific Plaza Condominium, which was completed in 1992. Currently, theMetrobank Center is the tallest building in the Philippines since its completion in 2017 with apinnacle height of 318 meters (1,043 ft).

Tallest completed buildings

[edit]

This list ranks the highest completed skyscrapers and buildings inMetro Manila — theNational Capital Region of the Philippines as of January 2026. These stand at least150 meters (492 ft) tall, based on standard height measurement according toEmporis andCTBUH (unless otherwise stated, the two sources agree on the height of a building). The list has a minimum height limit because there is a large number ofhighrises below that in Metro Manila and the termskyscraper usually refers to buildings as tall and taller.

An equal sign (=) following a rank indicates the same height between two or more structures, and the "Year" column indicates the year in which it was completed. Some authoritative sources areThe Skyscraper Center andEmporis.
