Laughing Water United KingdomThe ship ran aground in theRiver Avon atSea Mills,Somerset. She was on a voyage from Africa toBristol,Gloucestershire. She was refloated. Whilst she was being taken in to Bristol, she was run into by thesteamshipSabrina ( United Kingdom) and was severely damaged.[1]
Linnet United KingdomTheschooner was driven ashore south ofKronstadt,Russia. She was on a voyage fromKönigsberg,Germany to Kronstadt.[7] She was refloated and taken in to Kronstadt.[3]
MaisiSpainThesteamship was wrecked in theBahamas with the loss of 24 lives.[8]
Missouri United KingdomThesteamship was wrecked on the Gingerbread Grounds, in the Bahamas. All on board, about 175 people, were rescued. She was on a voyage fromLiverpool,Lancashire toNew Orleans, Louisiana.[9][10]
Wentworth Beaumont United KingdomThebrig was wrecked nearCarrigaholt,County Clare with the loss of a crew member. She was on a voyage fromLondon toHalifax, Nova Scotia,Canada,[11]

She was taken in to Liverpool sinking at the bows.[13][14][15]
Ismailia United KingdomThesteamship was sighted in theAtlantic Ocean during a voyage fromNew York, United States toGlasgow,Renfrewshire. No further trace, presumed foundered with the loss of all 52 people on board.[16]
