This is alist oflakes inSlovenia. In Slovenia, there are 321bodies of water classified as lakes, which includesintermittent lakes and artificialreservoirs. Most of the lakes in the country haveglacial origin and many are intermittent because of theKarst surface. The largest glacial lakes areLake Bled (147ha) andLake Bohinj (318 ha), and the largest intermittent lake isLake Cerknica (2500 ha when completely filled). The deepest lake is theWild Lake, reaching a depth of over 160 metres (520 ft), followed byLake Družmir with the maximum depth of 87 metres (285 ft).
Jezero is theSlovene word for lake.
