This is alist of named geological features onMimas, a moon that orbits the planetSaturn. Mimantean features are named after people and places inArthurian legend or the legends of theTitans. The sole exception to this isHerschel Crater, named afterWilliam Herschel, the astronomer who discovered Mimas in 1789. That name was chosen before theInternational Astronomical Union set a guideline for naming geological features on Mimas.
