This is a comprehensive list of allArticle III andArticle IVUnited States federal judges appointed by PresidentDonald Trump, as well as a partial list ofArticle I federal judicial appointments, excluding appointments to theDistrict of Columbia judiciary.[1]

As of November 21, 2025 theUnited States Senate has confirmed 253 Article III judges nominated by Trump: threeassociate justices of theSupreme Court of the United States, 60 judges for theUnited States courts of appeals, 187 judges for theUnited States district courts, and three judges for theUnited States Court of International Trade. There are 12 nominations awaiting Senate action: none for the courts of appeals and 12 for the district courts. There are no vacancies on the U.S. courts of appeals, 46 vacancies on the U.S. district courts, and one vacancy on the U.S. Court of International Trade,[2][3][4] as well as 7 announced vacancies that may occur before the end of Trump's term (one for the courts of appeals and six for the district courts).[Note 1][5] Trump has not made anyrecess appointments to the federal courts.

In terms ofArticle I courts, Trump has made 26 appointments: 10 for theUnited States Court of Federal Claims, seven for theUnited States Tax Court, six for theUnited States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, two for theUnited States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and one for theUnited States Court of Military Commission Review. There is one vacancy on the U.S. Tax Court. Trump designatedSusan G. Braden,Margaret M. Sweeney,Eleni M. Roumel, andMatthew H. Solomson as chief judges of theCourt of Federal Claims.

On theArticle IVterritorial courts, Trump has made one appointment. There is one vacancy on the U.S. territorial courts.[3]
