18The tanks are part of the4th company of theGerman-Dutch414 Tank Battalion, which is part of the Dutch43rd Mechanised Brigade and are leased from Germany.

The 18 tanks have been modernised and are equipped with Dutch communications and information systems. These modifications enable digital communications with Dutch units.[51]
