This is a chronological listing of theUnited States senators fromConnecticut.

United States senators are popularly elected, for a six-year term, beginning January 3. Elections are held the first Tuesday after November 1. Before 1914, they were chosen by theConnecticut General Assembly, and before 1935, their terms began March 4. Its current U.S. senators are DemocratsRichard Blumenthal (serving since 2011) andChris Murphy (serving since 2013).Chris Dodd is Connecticut's longest-serving senator (1981–2011).
