Ring of Honor (ROH) has held a variety ofprofessional wrestling tournaments competed for by wrestlers that are a part of theirpersonnel.
On June 22, 2002, Ring of Honor held anROH Championship tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Champion.[1] The Finals of the tournament was a four way iron man match that took place July 27, 2002. During that dateLow Ki won and became the inaugural champion.
On September 21, 2002, Ring of Honor held anROH Tag Team Championship tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Tag Team Champions.[2] During that date The Prophecy(Christopher Daniels andDonovan Morgan) won to become the inaugural champions.
TheField of Honor was aprofessional wrestling tournament held from September 6, 2003 until December 27, 2003 by theRing of Honor promotion. It was held as around-robin, with winners from two blocks wrestling in the final to decide that winner. The winner of each block is determined by a points system; one point for a victory, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.[3]

On March 10, 2017 at Ring of Honor's15th Anniversary Show Christopher Daniels challenged and defeatedAdam Cole to becomeROH World Champion for the first time.[20]

Championship tournament to crown the firstWomen of Honor Champion. AtSupercard of Honor XII the first champion was crowned which wasSumie Sakai.
In August 2019, ROH announced a tournament to crown to #1 contender for theROH World Championship. The first round matches will be held atDeath Before Dishonor XVII, the semifinals and finals will be held atGlory By Honor XVII. The winner will face the champion atFinal Battle.[22]
On January 30, 2020, nearly 14 years after it was retired, Ring of Honor announced they were reinstating the ROH Pure Championship, with a tournament to crown a new champion beginning in 2020.[23] The tournament was supposed to begin on April 12 but ROH suspended its television production due toCOVID-19 pandemic. ROH resumed television production in September and the tournament began on September 12.Jonathan Gresham won this tournament to become champion of the reinstated belt.
On January 1, 2020, ROH announced the deactivation of theWomen of Honor World Championship in favor of the newROH Women's World Championship.[24] A "Quest for Gold" tournament was set for April 24 at the2300 Arena inPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania, but was canceled after ROH announced that it had postponed all live events due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[25][26] At theROH 19th Anniversary Show, ROH Board of Directors memberMaria Kanellis-Bennett announce the tournament to take place in the summer of 2021.[27] On September 12, 2021 atDeath Before Dishonor XVIII the tournament finals took place andRok-C won and became the inaugural champion.

Championship tournament to determine the first everROH Women's World Television Championship holder in Ring of Honor history. April 5, 2024 atSupercard of HonorBillie Starkz won the tournament and became the inaugural champion by defeatingQueen Aminata in the tournament finals.[32]
On April 22, 2025Tony Kahn announced theROH Women's Pure Championship. On December 5, 2025 atFinal Battle 2025 in the tournament finalsDeonna Purrazzo defeated Billie Starkz viasubmission to become the inaugural ROH Pure Women's Champion.[33]
