This is alist of Pakistani sweets and desserts. Many differentdesserts exist inPakistani cuisine.[1][2] Some sweets originate and have been adopted from India due to the two countries' shared cultural heritage. Please see theList of Indian sweets and desserts for more details.

Bal MithaiMilk, sugar ballsA type ofbarfi, a sweetconfectionery from theIndian subcontinent. Plain barfi is made withcondensed milk andsugar cooked until it solidifies. The many varieties of barfi includebesan barfi (made withgram flour),kaaju barfi (made withcashews), andpista barfi (made with groundpistachios). The name is derived from thePersian wordbarf which means "snow", sincebarfi is similar toice/snow in appearance, this is why it is served cold.[3]
