Seecollege football series in NCAA Division I, for a list of series played 100 or more times, including ones not included as rivalry games below.

Fisher Stadium's scoreboard inEaston, Pennsylvania followingLafayette College's victory overLehigh University in the 142nd edition of "The Rivalry" in 2006. The series between the two colleges, which are 17 miles (27 km) away from each other in theLehigh Valley, is the most played rivalry incollege football history with 158 meetings since 1884.

More recently, other longstanding rivalries were terminated by the conference realignments of theearly 2010s andearly 2020s, or were interrupted by theCOVID-19 pandemic.
