List of Indian Navy bases

TheIndian Navy currently operates three[1] commands —Western Naval Command located atMumbai,Southern Naval Command located atKochi andEastern Naval Command located atVisakhapatnam. TheAndaman and Nicobar Command, a unifiedIndian Navy,Army,Air Force andCoast Guard Command was set up in theAndaman and Nicobar Islands in 2001.[2]
