F.C. United players and coaches celebrate winning their first championship title. The championship trophy is seen on the green grass pitch and the group have their arms around one another.
F.C. United celebrate becoming champions of the North West Counties Football League Division Two after the last game of their inaugural 2005–06 season.

F.C. United of Manchester is an English semi-professionalassociation football club based inMoston,Manchester, that competes in theNorthern Premier League Premier Division. The club was formed in June 2005 by supporters ofManchester United opposed to American businessmanMalcolm Glazer'stakeover of that club.[1] F.C. United are owned and democratically run by their supporters and operate as acommunity benefit society on a one-member, one vote basis.[2]

F.C. United were accepted intoDivision Two of theNorth West Counties Football League, at level ten of theEnglish football pyramid, for the2005–06 season.[1] They achieved three consecutive promotions in the first three years of their existence and were promoted for a fourth time to compete in the National League North for the2015–16 season. They were relegated to the Northern Premier League Premier Division 2019 where they continue to play.

F.C. United reached the second round of theFA Cup during the2010–11 season, and the first round during the2015–16 and2020–21 seasons. The club also reached the fourth round of theFA Trophy during the2014–15 season and the third round of theFA Vase during the 2006–07 season. In minor competitions, F.C. United won theFENIX Trophy in the 2021–22 and 2023–24 seasons, theManchester Premier Cup during the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons, the North West Counties Football League Challenge Cup during the 2006–07 season, and theNorthern Premier League President's Cup during the 2007–08 season.

From their formation to 2015, due to the lack of their own ground, F.C. United played their home matches at multiple stadia aroundGreater Manchester, includingBury'sGigg Lane,Curzon Ashton's Tameside Stadium andStalybridge Celtic'sBower Fold, among others.[3] The club moved into its own 4,400-capacityBroadhurst Park in north-east Manchester for the 2015–16 season.
