The article listsChina'sfirst-leveladministrative divisions bygross domestic product (GDP). Each province's GDP is listed in both the national currencyrenminbi (CNY), and at nominalU.S. dollar values according to annual average exchange rates.Purchasing power parity (PPP) index changes frequently, and its relevant data is not included in the main table, only included at the end of the entry. PPP reference comes from theWorld Economic Outlook published by theInternational Monetary Fund (IMF). Theaverage CNY exchange rate used here is from theChina NBS, andCNY PPP exchange rates are estimated according to the IMF.
