According to estimation of theUnited Nations, in 2023 life expectancy in China was77.95 years (75.20 for male,80.93 for female). This is 0.25 years less than it was in 2022.[1]

According to estimation of theWHO for 2019, at that year life expectancy in China was 77.4 years (74.7 years for male and 80.5 years for female).
Andhealthy life expectancy was 68.5 years (67.2 years for male and 70.0 years for female).[3]
Life expectancy in China is several years lower than in neighboring South Korea, Japan and Singapore, but several years higher than in Vietnam, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Russia and India.[1][2]
