Lipu (Chinese:荔浦;pinyin:Lìpǔ) is acounty-level city in the northeast ofGuangxi, China. It is under the administration ofGuilin City, the downtown of which is 100 km (62 mi) to the north.

Lipu has a population of 370,000 (2002). It covers an area of 1759 square kilometers. The seat of the city is atLipu Town (荔浦镇).
Lipu is known as "China's hanger capital." The city is home to about 100 hanger companies, which have manufactured "billions" ofclothes hangers that are used throughout the world, and distributed by companies such asTarget andIKEA.[1]
Other industries include afood processing plant which makes packagedsnacks.[1]
Fengyu Cave is found in Lipu.[2]
