LinuxTLE[1] (ลินุกซ์ทะเล,/ˈlɪnəkstəleɪ/) is a discontinued ThaiLinux distribution based onUbuntu and developed by theThailand National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC).
TLE stands forThai Language Extension, as it was originally a Thai extension forRed Hat Linux.[citation needed] The pronunciation "talay" is a homophone of the Thai word ทะเล (thesea).
