Linselles (French pronunciation:[lɛ̃sɛl];Dutch:Linsele;Picard:Linséles) is acommune in theNorddepartment in northernFrance. It is part of theMétropole Européenne de Lille.[3]

On 17 August 1793, during theWar of the First Coalition, it was the site of theBattle of Lincelles, a victory for a combinedBritish andDutch force against those of RevolutionaryFrance.[4]
