Linnea Axelsson (born 10 December 1980) is a Sami-Swedishart scholar, novelist and poet.

Axelsson was born inPorjus (Bårjås in Lule Sami[1]) inJokkmokk Municipality. She made her literary debut in 2010 with the novelTvillingsmycket. Herepic poemÆdnan from 2018 earned her theSvenska Dagbladet Literature Prize, as well as theAugust Prize for best fiction in 2018.[2] Its 2024 English translation bySaskia Vogel was longlisted for theNational Book Award for Translated Literature.[3]
