Li Yizhong (Chinese:李毅中; born 1945)[1] is a former director ofMinister of Industry and Information Technology of thePeople's Republic of China.[2][3]

Personal life and education

Yizhong was born during 1945 inDatong City,Shanxi Province. He graduated Beijing Petroleum College in 1966.[1]

Career

Yizhong is known for his former roles such as head ofState Administration of Work Safety,[4] Mayor ofTianjin,[4] and vice-minister in charge of theNational Development and Reform Commission.[4]
