Li Yizhong (Chinese:李毅中; born 1945)^[1] is a former director ofMinister of Industry and Information Technology of thePeople's Republic of China.^[2][3]

Yizhong was born during 1945 inDatong City,Shanxi Province. He graduated Beijing Petroleum College in 1966.^[1]

Yizhong is known for his former roles such as head ofState Administration of Work Safety,^[4] Mayor ofTianjin,^[4] and vice-minister in charge of theNational Development and Reform Commission.^[4]
