Lewis Shipley (born 29 November 2003) is an English professionalfootballer who plays as adefender forEFL League Two clubBarrow.[1]

Career

Norwich City

Born inCambridge, Shipley began his career withNorwich City at the age of 7,[2][3] turning professional in October 2021,[4] before moving on loan toAccrington Stanley in July 2023.[5][6] He suffered an injury after one game and "struggled for game time".[7]

He signed on loan forCheltenham Town in August 2024.[8] In January 2025 it was announced that Shipley had returned to Norwich City.[9]

On 13 May 2025, Norwich announced he would be leaving the club in June when his contract expired.[10]

Barrow

On 27 June 2025,Barrow announced they had signed Shipley on a two-year contract.[11] On 16 August 2025, Shipley netted his firstBarrow goal, a 97th minute winner againstNotts County. He scored a second goal a week later in an away win at Colchester.[12]
