Lewis Fitzgerald Bush (December 2, 1969 – December 8, 2011) was an American professionalfootballlinebacker in theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theWashington State Cougars.

Early life

Bush prepped atWashington High School inTacoma, Washington.[1]

College career

Bush playedcollege football atWashington State University inPullman,[1] from1988 through1992.[2]

Professional career

Bush was selected by theSan Diego Chargers in the fourth round (99th overall) of the1993 NFL draft.[3][4][5]He played in the NFL for ten seasons, seven with the Chargers and three with theKansas City Chiefs.

Post-career

Bush was a pre-gamecommentator for San Diego Chargers radio broadcasts onKIOZ, and also worked as an Enrollment Advisor forAshford University in 2009.

Bush died of a heart attack at age 42 in late 2011.[6]
