Leinesfjorden orMyklebostad[3] is theadministrative centre ofSteigen Municipality inNordland county,Norway. The village is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of the village ofNordfold along theLeinesfjorden, thefjord after which the village is named. The local school is located here as well asLeinesfjord Chapel.[4]
The 0.27-square-kilometre (67-acre) village has a population (2023) of 251 and apopulation density of 930 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,400/sq mi).[1]
