Marvel Comics is a publisher ofAmerican comic books and related media. It counts amongits characters such well-known superheroes asSpider-Man,Wolverine,Iron Man,Captain America,Thor,Hulk,Black Panther,Doctor Strange,Ant-Man,Daredevil, andDeadpool, and such teams as theAvengers, theX-Men, theFantastic Four, and theGuardians of the Galaxy. Most of Marvel's fictional characters are depicted in a sharedfictional universe, with most locations mirroring real-life places. Many major characters are based inNew York City.[1][2]
