Lealt (Scottish Gaelic:An Leathallt) is a croftingtownship, on the western coastline of theSound of Raasay on theTrotternish peninsula ofSkye, in theHighlands of Scotland and the council area ofHighland.[1] TheLealt River which gives its name to Lealt, passes through on the way to the Sound of Raasay.

The name "Lealt" means "Stream with one high bank".[2]
