Leading Tickles is atown in theCanadian province ofNewfoundland and Labrador. In 2021, the town had a population of 296, down from 407 in theCanada 2006 Census. It is located approximately 25 km Northwest ofPoint Leamington on the shores ofNotre Dame Bay. The town has notable scenery, especially in spring and early summer when many icebergs pass just off the coast.
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Leading Tickles had a population of296 living in138 of its189 total private dwellings, a change of1.4% from its 2016 population of292. With a land area of 26.59 km2 (10.27 sq mi), it had a population density of11.1/km2 (28.8/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
